Welcome to our project!
Welcome and thank you for visiting our page!
This website is the result of the hard working student's in Mrs. Murto's 8th grade American History class through iForward school of Wisconsin. All quarter we have been working on this project and doing research. Students got to choose a certain group of Wisconsin people to cover. Some picked their group based on their own ancestry, others on a group of people they found really interesting. This website does not cover all of the variety of people who call Wisconsin home, but it does cover the many that this group of students really wanted to study.
Along with learning more about a cultural group of Wisconsin, the students were asked to learn more about climate change. They had to do research on climate change to learn what it was and how it could affect our world. They then had to take this information and come up with some ideas on how the group of people they were studying could be affected by climate change. As you will see as you read through these, they came up with some pretty interesting ideas!
We worked very hard this quarter to create this project and are very proud of what we came up with. We hope that you enjoy this site and learned more about the people of Wisconsin and the effects of climate change.
